World Golf Hall of Fame member and Roswell native Nancy Lopez and Albuquerque’s own Rosie Jones will return to defend their title against Kristi Albers and Alena Sharp at this year’s New Mexico Shootout to be played at Sierra del Rio Championship Golf Course at Turtleback Mountain Resort on Friday, Sept. 5, in Elephant Butte.

SHARP SELECTION Ontario, Canada native Alena Sharp, an All-American golfer at New Mexico State University from 1999-2003 and a rising star on the LPGA Tour, will join Nancy Lopez, Rosie Jones, Kristi Albers and Kathy Whitworth at the second annual New Mexico Shootout Sept. 5 at Sierra del Rio Golf Course in Elephant Butte.
